hello folk…………   ron here…………….    we play saturday afternoon from 1p-5p  on the green in Norwich Vermont  on the bandstand.   See you there i hope.   Also  a band from Tuck’s Rock Dojo plays the next day   same time same place.   Please show these young musicians some support.    Peace   and Out.    ps  Boom Boom fell off the stage this past saturday after he and I went wild at the end of a song.   went right back after hitting his last beat.   looked like keith moon.

its Ron……..  we play this weekend in Sharon Vt.   Besides the selections on our song list at the webpage   we prepared two Jonny Lang covers(Lie To Me and Darker Side) to offer up plus reworking a couple more originals(one by Boom Boom and one by me).   Start time for us will be probably 6 pm    usually goes til around 11 pm.  bring some of your favorite food and drink  and its outside  so dress according to weather reports  and bug spray advisable to carry.

we are working hard atpractices working on around 8-10 original songs to put out on a cd .   This is keeping us busy during June.  July we are playing at two annual celebrations listed on our website    theDSY.com

In August  we will be entertaining at a wedding and, possibly, a pretty big barbeque in Windsor, Vt. with a few other bands.  On August 6 some folks are putting together a benefit to help with their funding for a very cool school.  It looks like it will be a pretty well known band out of Manchester, NH, us, and some students from the school.   It will be in Rumney NH at a local club with each band doing about an hour set.    More info to follow on all the activities mentioned here.

this is ron   this is the first entry to let folks know what we have been up to on the DSY band.  Recently, we played out at a place in Cornish, NH….i thought we sucked but boom boom lanza, our drummer, made a dvd  and we passed as ok.   We are open for talking to folks about playing for them so give a call or email as shown on our website.   We play in Sharon Vermont on july 3rd at an outdoor celebration of the Fourth.  The next weekend we play at the Norwich Fair in Norwich, Vermont.  Til then we are working on a CD of all originals.  They are so far:

Welcome to the blog of the DSY band.  We will be posting on a regular basis to keep you all up to date on what we’re doing musically…both out in the world and behind the scenes.  We’ll try and give you an idea of what we’re working on and where we are headed.   Ron Treem, our lead guitar player, will be the point person in this project so you’ll get to hear his ideas and thoughts on the original stuff we’re doing, as well as the covers of our favorite groups.  Let us know what you think and we’ll keep the conversation going!  We value you’re input.
